Just this past Saturday night, me and my girl are driving home from seeing a band. We're on the highway, she's driving her WRX. It is rainy and the road is shiny. All of a sudden, in the middle of our lane, is a mountain bike! Yes, a mountain bike lying on its side. I had time to say "Ahh!" and then we ran it over. No sign of a bicyclist, so we think it fell off somebody's bike carrier. Similar damage. Cracked fascia. But also the underbody cowling was all ripped up and pushed into the wheel. And the enormous WRX foglight broke loose and was dangling like an eyeball in a horror movie. The handlebars were on the drivers side of the car when we hit... No fun crunching all that back to where it started, in the rain, so we could drive home. Anyway, I feel your pain, I know your horror. Good luck!
